How we run an engagement
Most engineering projects do not fail on technical difficulty. They fail because scope, schedule and responsibility were never pinned down in writing, and the gap only becomes visible when something has to be rebuilt. Our PMP certified project managers start by fixing the deliverables list, the decision points and the interfaces between parties, then manage the schedule and the risk register against that baseline rather than against optimism.
On the bid side the same rigour applies earlier.
