Bulk earthworks in progress with excavator, articulated dump truck, compaction roller and survey instrument

With more than four decades of combined specialist experience, our commitment to quality, health, safety and environment is absolute. We develop and implement quality management systems modelled on ISO 9001 principles and carry that discipline through every stage from concept to commissioning.

Capabilities

  • ISO 9001 modelled quality management system development
  • Quality assurance and quality control programme planning and auditing
  • Safety, health and environment plan development
  • Construction quality and technical compliance oversight
  • Risk management and non-conformance reporting

Our safety record

Across every construction supervision engagement we have delivered, in Canada, Chad and Cameroon, we have recorded zero Lost Time Incidents.

Quality that survives contact with a site

A quality management system is only worth the inspections it actually triggers. We develop systems modelled on ISO 9001 principles, then translate them into inspection and test plans that name the hold points, the acceptance criteria and the person who signs. Auditing and non-conformance reporting close the loop, so a deviation is recorded and dispositioned rather than absorbed quietly into the as-built.

Safety works the same way. Site-specific health, safety and environment plans are written against the actual hazards of the work, whether that is energised line work, deep excavation or heavy lifting in a congested yard, and they are enforced by engineers who are present rather than by a document in a site office. Site presence is the point: the plans are enforced by engineers who are on the ground, which is also how our construction supervision teams catch a problem while it is still cheap to fix.

Where oversight is applied

QHSE oversight runs across all of our disciplines, from high voltage transmission and distribution construction through oil, gas and energy facility works to mining and metals installations. The environmental side connects directly to the commitments made in our environmental and social assessments.

Common questions

Are you ISO 9001 certified?

Our quality management systems are developed and implemented on ISO 9001 principles. We are explicit about that wording because modelling a system on the standard and holding third-party certification are different claims, and clients are entitled to know which one applies.

What does construction quality oversight actually cover?

Inspection and test planning, verification against the approved design and specification, materials and workmanship checks, non-conformance reporting and disposition, and close-out documentation. On civil works it extends to compaction and materials testing carried out by our own team.

Do you write site safety plans or only audit them?

Both. We develop safety, health and environment plans and we audit performance against them, including subcontractor compliance where our scope includes supervision of the works.

How is risk managed during delivery?

Through a maintained risk register with owners and mitigation actions, reviewed at defined project milestones. Delivery-side risk and schedule management is described further under project and proposal management.
