On producing oilfields in Chad we have supervised civil works over a twenty-two month programme and designed and built industrial hangars for oilfield service operators. This is remote, logistics-constrained, schedule-driven work, and it is delivered with quality assurance and safety oversight built into every phase rather than added at the end.

What we do in this sector
- Civil and structural design for oilfield facilities and industrial buildings
- Detailed technical studies and design packages
- Construction supervision and internal control of works
- Earthworks, materials and pavement quality control
- Geotechnical investigation and foundation design
- Site safety oversight and HSE reporting
- Quality assurance and quality control programme planning
Standards and tools
Our quality management systems are modelled on ISO 9001 principles and applied from concept through to commissioning. Across every construction supervision engagement we have delivered, in Canada, Chad and Cameroon, we have recorded zero Lost Time Incidents.
Working in remote basins
Both Chad assignments were run with small resident teams close to the works, because in a remote basin the value of an engineer is measured in how quickly a non-conformance is caught. Supervision, materials control and safety oversight were carried by the same team rather than split across contracts.
