When a bridge on a single-access corridor fails, the engineering question and the logistics question are the same question. We supervised the emergency repair of the Mouroup Bridge on the Ham to Fianga axis in Chad together with roadway upgrading at Djoumane, restoring safe passage inside a compressed five month programme with zero Lost Time Incidents.

What we do in this sector
- Design and rehabilitation of roads, bridges and airport runways
- Bridge assessment and emergency repair supervision
- Roadway upgrading and pavement structure design
- Geotechnical investigation, foundation design and slope stability
- Materials engineering and earthworks quality control
- Construction supervision and internal control of works
Standards and tools
Roadway and structural work is delivered against CSA and internationally recognised transport standards, with materials and earthworks control run under our ISO 9001 modelled quality system.
Emergency programmes
Emergency work rewards decisiveness more than volume. A team of five supervised the Mouroup repair and the Djoumane roadway improvements at the same time, which kept the assessment, the repair method and the quality control in one conversation instead of three.
